Nvidia has finally unveiled the much-awaited budget RTX 30 series graphics card, the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti for gaming laptops. ASUS is one of the first brands to announce a wide range of gaming laptops that come with either an RTX 3050 or RTX 3050Ti.

The RTX 3050 Ti boasts 2560 CUDA cores, 80 3rd-gen Tensor Cores, and 20 2nd Gen RT Cores. The RTX 3050 on the other hand sports 20% lesser cores than its bigger brother. Both the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti have 128-bit 4GB GDDR6 with a TGP of 35w to 80-watts.
ROG Flow X13
The latest ROG Flow X13 model comes with an RTX 3050 or RTX 3050 Ti. Its 13″ convertible form factor allows the RTX 3050 Ti to clock up to 1135MHz at 35W with another 5W available from Dynamic Boost. GeForce RTX 3050 variants run-up to1157MHz at 35W with ROG Boost, and they can draw another 5W through Dynamic Boost.
ROG Zephyrus M16
The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti runs on the ROG Zephyrus M16 at up to 1585MHz at 60W with ROG Boost, with another 15W available from Dynamic Boost. There’s no RTX 3050 on the M16.
ROG Zephyrus G14
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is definitely one of our favorite products that we reviewed last year. Now with the refreshed Ryzen 9 5900HS processor, the latest ROG Zephrus G14 comes with either an RTX 3050 Ti running at 1585Mhz at 60W+15W Dynamic Boost or an RTX 3050 that runs up to 1600Mhz at 60W+15W Dynamic boost. Aside from the RTX 3050 models, the latest ROG Zephyrus G14 comes with either a WQHD panel at 120Hz or an FHD screen at 144Hz.
ROG Zephyrus G15
Like its smaller sibling, the Zephyrus G15 is powered by AMD® processors up to the Ryzen 9 5900HS. The slim chassis and thermal module have enough headroom to take the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti up to 1585MHz at 60W with ROG Boost, with another 15W available from Dynamic Boost. The GeForce RTX 3050 config runs at up to 1600MHz at 60W with ROG Boost, plus an extra 15W through Dynamic Boost.
ROG Strix G15 and G17
Configurations with the GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti use AMD processors up to the Ryzen 7 5800H for both the ROG Strix G15 and G17. The RTX 3050 Ti runs at up to 1795MHz at 80W with ROG Boost, with another 15W available from Dynamic Boost, while the RTX 3050 clocks up to 1840MHz and 80W with ROG Boost and can draw another 15W when Dynamic Boost is engaged – the highest boost clock in ASUS’ lineup.
TUF Dash F15
The TUF Dash 15 is one of two Intel-powered laptops in ASUS’ lineup that sports an RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3050 Ti. The TUF Dash 15 sports Intel’s latest 11th Gen H-series CPU up to the Intel Core i7 11370H. The TUF Dash 15 runs the RTX 3050 Ti at 1585MHz at 60W with ROG Boost plus an extra 15W from Dynamic Boost while the RTX 3050 clocks up to 1600mhz with the same wattage as the RTX 3050 Ti.
TUF Gaming A15 and A17
The RTX 3050 Ti on the TUF Gaming A15 and A17 runs up to 1585Mhz at 60W with 15W available from Dynamic Boost. The RTX 3050 on the other hand runs up to 1600W at 60W with a 15W headroom for Dynamic Boost. The TUF Gaming A15 and A17 also comes with ASUS’ Two-Way AI Noise cancellation.
TUF Gaming F15 and F17
Intel’s latest H45 11th Gen Processor makes its debut on the TUF Gaming F15 and F17 with the Intel Core i9-11900H. The 8-core, 16-thread CPU is paired with an RTX 3050Ti running at 1585Mhz with the typical 60W+15W Dynamic boost power configuration while the RTX 3050 variant runs at 1600Mhz.
Pricing and Availability
ASUS hasn’t announced the prices and configurations for the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti laptops that were announced. For reference, RTX 3050 laptops start at $799 while RTX 3050 Ti laptops start at $849. We expect these RTX 3050 series laptops to range from Php 50,000 to Php 80,000.
