HONOR has announced three new additions to its mid-range portfolio. The HONOR 50 Series – HONOR 50, 50 Pro, and 50 SE, all boast 120Hz displays, 108MP main cameras, and will ship with something we haven’t seen in a while – GMS.

HONOR 50 Pro

Heading the lot is the HONOR 50 Pro which is equipped with a 6.72-inch curved 10-bit FHD+ AMOLED display with a 300Hz touch sampling rate and houses a pair of front cameras – a 32MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide unit. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast-charging

HONOR 50

The vanilla HONOR 50 has a smaller 6.57-inch screen and shares the same display specs as the Pro variant, only that it has a single 32MP front shooter. The device houses a 4,300mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast-charging.

Both are powered by a Snapdragon 778G paired with an Adreno 642L GPU. This processing package delivers a near-SD780G performance. You get 8GB/12GB of RAM and Magic UI 4.2 on top of Android 11.

For optics, they also share a similar camera setup. Apart from the 108MP main snapper, there’s also an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a pair of 2MP lenses for macro and depth.

HONOR 50 SE

The most affordable device in the lot has a 6.78-inch flat LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP front camera. It’s got a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It uses the same 108MP sensor on the HONOR 50 and HONOR 50 Pro, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro camera.

The device also uses Magic UI 4.2 on top Android 11 and houses a 4,000mAh battery with 66W wired fast-charging.

HONOR 50 Series Pricing

HONOR 50 and 50 Pro are priced starting at CNY2,699 and CNY3,699 respectively. Both will also go international, to over 40 regions in the future. HONOR 50 SE, on the other hand, is priced starting at CNY2,399.
