Samsung and AMD had announced previously that they are working together to bring the RDNA architecture to the Exynos chipset. Its first score looks promising as it topped the 3DMark benchmark charts with an 8,134 overall score.
The score soars above the iPhone 11 and 12 Pro Max and is 50% better than any Galaxy S21 device. However, the new flagship chipset used for the benchmark was listed with a Cortex-A77 core. This means the overall score for the final product will be different because it is expected to feature a Cortex-X1 prime core.
Due to the Note series postponed because of the global chip shortage, the new chipset is also expected to debut with the Galaxy S22 series.
