Renders and camera details of the OnePlus Nord 2 have just surfaced. Additionally, the company has officially confirmed software support.
Based on the renders, the OnePlus Nord 2 replaces the pill-shaped punch hole for its dual front camera of its predecessor with a circular hole with a single selfie camera.
It has been already confirmed by the company that the upcoming Nord device will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Moreover, it is built around a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The company has added that it will get two big Android versions and three years of security updates.
A new rumor also claims that the Nord 2 will have a Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS. If it is the case, it will be pretty impressive especially on a mid-range smartphone. Meanwhile, the two other cameras are said to be an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP sensor. The latter is most likely a portrait or macro lens.
The Nord 2 is expected to also have a 32MP front shooter, a 4500mAh battery, 8/12GB RAM, and 128/256GB internal storage.
The company is scheduled to unveil the device on July 22, so there’s time for more rumors and reveals.
