Samsung has just announced that it will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11, 2021. At the event, the company is set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip3, Buds2, and Watch4.
Galaxy Z Fold3
The Galaxy Z Fold3 is the main product in this lineup. With the Galaxy Note absent this year, the Z Fold3 is expected to take its place with S Pen support. The Fold3 is said to have two Super AMOLED panels – a 6.23-inch cover display and a 7.55-inch internal screen. It was also spotted on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with 12GB RAM and runs on Android 11.
Additionally, in the optic department, it is expected to pack five cameras with three 12MP cameras at the back it ultrawide lens with autofocus. It also has a 16MP front camera and a 10MP lens on the cover display. The upcoming foldable is also said to be cheaper than its predecessor.
Galaxy Z Flip3
Meanwhile, the Z Flip3 has less information available than the Fold3 but it is expected to have a Snapdragon 888 chipset. This is rumored to be joined by 8GB RAM and a 3300mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
It is also said to have a 1.9-inch external display and a 120Hz 6.7-inch internal panel. Despite the lack of details for the Z Flip3, there have been renders that have been leaked. Additionally, It is said to be 20% cheaper than its predecessor.
Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Buds2
The biggest news on Galaxy Watch4 is the new One UI Watch OS that the company revealed in MWC 2021. In a nutshell, it combines Tizen and Wear OS. The new watch is expected to have a vanilla variant and a Classic variant with the company’s signature rotating bezel.
Lastly, the Galaxy Buds2 has a good selection of colors based on leaks. Additionally, it has a stylish design and active noise cancellation. It reported to be priced between USD 149 and 169.
