Yongnuo has just launched the Yongnuo YN455 mirrorless camera, its latest mirrorless camera that runs on Android 10. The mirrorless camera is a successor to the YN450 launched in 2018.
The Yongnuo YN455 comes with an interchangeable lens system and a 20MP Micro Four Thirds sensor. The camera captures up to 4K video at 30 fps. It has a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon chipset at its helm coupled with 6GB of RAM.
It has a 5-inch tilting screen and a removable 4400mAh battery with 18W charging support. The camera also supports 4G via a nano-SIM and Bluetooth 5.0.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a camera run on Android. Back in the day, Samsung tested the waters with the Samsung Galaxy Camera followed by the Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy K Zoom. As we mentioned, this isn’t the first Android-powered camera from Yongnuo either which makes it quite admirable.
The Yongnuo YN455 is available for CNY 3,888. Its global availability is uncertain as of writing this though.
