Google recently launched the Pixel 6 series powered by the company’s own silicone – the Tensor chipset. A couple of days after, a Redditor recently shared that he was receiving the Pixel 6 and wanted to know what people wanted to see. Among the requests in the thread included a GPU benchmark using the 3DMark benchmark.
The Redditor gladly obliged the request revealing that the Pixel 6 scored an interesting 6,666 on the Wild Life test and 2,028 on the Wild Life Extreme test. In comparison, the Exynos 2100 on the Galaxy S21 scored 5,668 and 1,793, respectively. Meanwhile, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 on the Mi 11 scored 5,599 and 1,494, respectively.
This doesn’t quite equate to much especially since this is just the 3DMark score for now. However, it does give us an idea of how well the 20-core Mali-G78 MP20 GPU performs compared to some of the heavy-hitters available for Android users in the market.
