Following the announcement of its partnership with Qualcomm, a report from 91mobiles mentions that Nothing is working on a smartphone.
This comes as no surprise as the tech brand’s founder Carl Pei was the co-founder of OnePlus. Additionally, Nothing acquired the Essential smartphone brand earlier this year.
Not much else is known about the smartphone but it is expected to make its debut in early 2022.
The company is also reported to be working on a power bank dubbed Nothing Power (1), which takes its naming cues from the company’s first product, the ear (1). The Power (1) is believed to be introduced ahead of the smartphone.
The ear (1) had a unique transparent design and it will be interesting to see if the tech brand will carry over the design to the power bank and the smartphone. As of writing this, there’s no official announcement of either device though.
