Huawei Watch GT Runner and other stuff

Huawei has just announced quite a lot and quite a variety of devices in a launch event in China. The devices launch are the Huawei Watch GT Runner, the MateBook E, the MateStation X desktop PC, and VR Glass 6DoF glasses.

Huawei Watch GT Runner

The Huawei Watch GT Runner is a sportier version of the Watch GT 3 built with a polymer fiber material. It is also lighter at 38.5 g compared to the 63g Watch GT 3 Pro.

The GT Runner has a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel and features Huawei TruSeen 5.0 optical heart rate module for heart rate monitoring. Additionally, it features SpO2 monitoring and activity tracking over 100 sports modes.

It has 4GB of storage on board as well as a microphone and speaker. The watch features GNSS positioning, NFC, and connects via Bluetooth but lacks a cellular connection.

As far as protection goes, it is 5ATM water-resistant. Meanwhile, its battery is said to offer 14 days on one charge.

The Huawei GT Runner comes in gray and black colors. It is available in China for CNY 2,188 starting November 26.

Huawei MateBook E

The Huawei MateBook E, on the other hand, is the company’s new 2-in-1 device running on Windows 11. Under the hood, it has an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 chipset with Intel Iris X GPU. The processor is coupled with 8/16GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256/512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

Regardless of which variant you choose, it features a 12.6-inch OLED panel with a 2560x1600p resolution and an 8MP front camera. There’s also a 13MP shooter on the back. support for the Huawei M-Stylus.

The new 2-in-1 device also comes bundled with a smart magnetic keyboard or slide keyboard, depending on the MateBook E configuration.

As far as connections go, it has a Thunderbolt 4 port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and supports the Huawei M-Stylus. Additionally, it features quad speakers and quad mics and packs a 42Wh battery.

Huawei MateBook E highlights

The model with an Intel Core i5/8GB RAM/256GB storage and magnetic keyboard starts at CNY 5,999. Meanwhile, the Intel Core i7/16GB RAM/512GB storage version with a slide keyboard and M-Pencil Stylus is priced at CNY 8,699.

Huawei MateStation X

If you’re looking for an all-in-one desktop, there’s the Huawei MateStation X with a 28.2-inch IPS LCD panel. Under the hood, it has an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H or an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor along with Radeon graphics.

It only offers one storage option with 16GB RAM and 512GB M.2 NVMe storage. The all-in-one desktop comes bundled with a wireless keyboard with a built-in fingerprint scanner and a Bluetooth mouse. It also runs on Windows 11 out of the box.

Huawei MateStation X

The Huawei MateStation X is priced at CNY 9,999 for the base Ryzen 5 5600H variant and CNY 11,999 for the Ryzen 7 5800H. It is available in China starting December 12.

Lastly, the Huawei VR Glass 6DoF which is a gaming VR headset with two dedicated controllers. It weighs in at 188 grams with a 90-degree FoV.

The headset has a dual 2.1-inch LCD display with a single eye resolution of 1600×1600 and a binocular resolution of 3200×1600. Both lenses are adjustable with myopia of down to -7.00.

Huawei VR Glass 6DoF

The Huawei VR Glass 6DoF will be available in China starting November 26 for CNY 3,999.
