Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra vs Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
Allow us to give you the results of our benchmarks if ever you’re wondering how the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra fares versus the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra uses a 4nm chipset manufactured by Samsung. The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is powered by a TSMC-manufactured 5nm Apple A15 Bionic.
Here’s a quick look at the specs of these two chipsets:
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 seems to have higher configuration than the A15 Bionic. What you are about to see is an interesting set of benchmark results. The Galaxy S22 Ultra can be seen as a gaming powerhouse because of its upgraded GPU. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max trumps over the Galaxy S22 Ultra in terms of CPU performance based on benchmark.

Early Recommendation
If you’re after mobile gaming, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a full array of marketplaces and available games that you can get for free or play. This does not mean the the iPhone 13 Pro Max is not made for gaming. It can definitely be a gaming powerhouse, but at the expense of a closer system.
Having said this, if you want to be more “free” in being able to play backup retro games, it is much easier to do this on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. There are plenty of available emulators available via Google PlayStore and also supports sideloading.
Gaming is not the only major advantage of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is also an unofficial Galaxy Note because of its S-Pen.
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max remains to be the best choice for those who are still ingrained in the Apple ecosystem. The OS and the apps available for the iPhone are very well optimized for its lower CPU configuration. Optimization is the main reason why the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s CPU performs better in artificial benchmarks. If you are the type of consumer who falls in this web of situation, get the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
