OPPO is set to release the OPPO Enco X2 earbuds – the successor to the Enco X earbuds that aims to bring HiFi quality sound thanks to the company’s in-house tech. These earbuds are set to launch on February 24 along with OPPO Find X5 and OPPO Pad.

Pete Lau, the company’s Chief Product Officer, announced that the X2s are on the way. The exec says that the earbuds will show us a “breakthrough” in sound quality. He even consigned “all the thousands of wired HiFi headphones I bought” to a drawer (comment translated by Google on Weibo).

Another exec, Li Kaixin, who is the VP and head of IoT business is also hyping up the earbuds features and enhancements.

The official posts have not shown any key specs, but the reliable tipsters at Digital Chat Station expect the OPPO Enco X2 to have 11mm drivers, “wide-band” active noise canceling that goes up to 45 dB, SuperDBEE, “Hi-Res” audio, and LHDC 4.0 support.

Lastly, the images shown in this article were taken by the company’s execs using the OPPO Find N to showcase the earbud’s design.
