Huawei is set to introduce the Huawei Pocket S in China later today at 7 PM, but ahead of its launch, live photos of the device were shared on Weibo by leakster WHYLAB.
The leaks not only revealed the color options and design, but also give us a look into the specs of the upcoming foldable device.
The Pocket S is believed to be a lite version of the Huawei P50 Pocket introduced in China in December last year and later launched locally in February.
Huawei Pocket S Leaked Specs
The Huawei Pocket S will allegedly feature a 6.9-inch foldable OLED panel with a punch hole on the center top of the device or its front camera. The internal display is reported to have a 2790×1188 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
As far as optics go, the new foldable is said to have a 10.7MP front camera and a 40MP main camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide lens on the back. The rear will also have a 1.04-inch cover display with a 340×340 resolution.
Based on the photos, the Pocket S will have a Snapdragon 778G 4G chipset with a 4000mAh with 40W fast charging support.
There are also more color options for the Pocket S namely Obisidian Black, Primrose Gold, Frost Silver, Mint Green, Cherry Pink, and Ice Crystal Blue.
The launch of the Huawei Pocket S happens in about 4 hours so we thankfully don’t have to wait too long to see if these are on point.
