Xiaomi has just announced on Weibo that it will debut the Xiaomi 13 series and MIUI 14 on December 1 at 7 PM.
Based on the post, we can expect at least the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. The teaser poster also looks to hint at one having a flat display and the other featuring a curved display.
The company has confirmed that the vanilla variant will have a flat display. This means the Pro will most likely have a curved display. Moreover, Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 series will feature an IP68 rating.
The post also confirmed that the devices would be dubbed Xiaomi 13 instead of the previous leak revealing the alleged Xiaomi 14.
Alleged Xiaomi 13 Series Specifications
According to previous leaks and rumors, the Xiaomi 13 series is said to have the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC at the helm, support 120W fast charging, and a 50MP triple rear camera.
The vanilla variant is rumored to feature a 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED Panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5000mAh battery.
The Pro variant, on the other hand, is believed to have an E6 LTPO QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 32MP front camera, and a 4800mAH battery.
Meanwhile, MIUI 14 is said to remove ads and lessen the bloatware in the devices out of the box.
With only a couple of days left until the launch, we can expect Xiaomi to reveal even more about its latest flagship series in the following days.
