A report from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reveals that Apple is considering an iPhone Ultra model that will be above the Pro and Pro Max.
iPhone Ultra Could be Coming as Early as 2024
According to the report, Tim Cook answered the question of investors regarding the rising average price of the iPhone and its sustainability by saying that “people are willing to really stretch to get the best they can afford in that category.”
The company is reported to be “very open” to introducing an iPhone Ultra alongside the current offerings of the iPhone, iPhone Plus, Pro, and Pro Max. It is also believed to arrive as early as 2024.
As an Ultra device, it is expected to be even bigger than the Pro Max with better cameras and a faster processor. Gurman notes that it may not be that the fifth iPhone variant won’t likely be a folding device as those aren’t expected until after 2024.
