With the rise of AI and ChatGPT, of course, it was bound to have apps for phones and even wearables. This is the case with Petey – AI Assistant, an app that makes ChatGPT-3.5 or GPT-4 available for the Apple Watch.
The app was previously known as watchGPT but since Apple blocks new apps with the GPT name, developer Hidde van der Ploeg was forced to rebrand.
Petey – AI Assistant
The wearable app, with the new Version 1.2, allows you to use the new ChatGPT-4 model which brings with it better answers and faster responses to your requests. In order to enjoy this though, you’ll need to purchase it via the app. If you opt not to buy it, you can still enjoy ChatGPT 3.5.
Additionally, you can now have entire conversations with the AI with the new update. Previously, you were only able to make a single request.
You will now also be able to customize the app icon and design of the app. Keep in mind that it only works with watchOS 9 and above.
