Unparalleled flexibility

The Canon RF 100-300mm F2.8L IS USM is a super-compact zoom lens that offers the flexibility of a zoom and the performance of a prime lens. It weighs only 2.59kg, making it the lightest zoom lens in its class.

Its compact size and performance are due to the RF mount in the EOS R System, which allows the lens to maintain a constant f/2.8 aperture and fast autofocus and tracking throughout the zoom range.

Impressive optical performance meets stunning image quality

The Canon RF 100-300mm F2.8L IS USM has a fast f/2.8 fixed aperture that is good for shooting in low light and controlling depth of field. The lens has a 9-blade circular aperture that creates beautiful bokeh effects.

Moreover, its new image stabilizer mechanism can stabilize up to 5.5 stops when used alone and 6 stops when combined with in-body image stabilization, making it great for handheld photography and videography of fast-moving subjects.

The system can also detect when a tripod is used, automatically turning off the image stabilization.

Furthermore, the RF 100-300mm F2.8L IS USM is built for daily professional use and is highly durable and reliable. It has dust and weather seals to resist harsh environments, fluorine coatings for easy cleaning, and a heat shield.

Canon has launched a new Neural network Image Processing Tool that can upscale images by 200% using deep learning AI technology and Canon’s image expertise.
