PLDT and Smart Rally Behind Team Pilipinas in 32nd SEA Games

PLDT and Smart express their utmost support for the Filipino athletes participating in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games this month.

Smart LiveStream App serves as an official broadcaster for the 32nd SEA Games.

PLDT, Smart, and Other Companies Supporting Athletes

In addition, PLDT, Smart, and other companies have been collaborating under MVPSF to uphold their sports initiatives. The organization has been supporting 17 National Sports Agencies and many athletes for nation-building since 2011. MVPSF, in partnership with PLDT and Smart, has also established sports facilities for the training of Filipino athletes in various disciplines such as gymnastics, badminton, and boxing.

Team Pilipinas has sent its largest delegation to date, with representatives slated to compete in all 38 sports events, including the Smart-supported Gilas Men’s and Women’s basketball teams, Olympic gymnast Carlos Yulo, Olympic pole-vaulter EJ Obiena, a team of decorated boxers led by Nesthy Petecio, Irish Magno, and Carlo Paalam, the FIFA World Cup-bound Filipinas, Smash Pilipinas badminton players, the SIBOL squad for esports, Women’s Volleyball team featuring Dell Palomata from PLDT High Speed Hitters, and many others.

Smart LiveStream App is available for download from the App Store or Google Play Store. Users would only need to enter a valid Smart Prepaid or Postpaid mobile number to register. They will receive a prompt SMS containing an OTP code, which they can use to start streaming the SEA Games on their smartphones.
