The handheld gaming space has been very active lately, thanks to the arrival of devices like the Steam Deck, which came with very competitive pricing, and the newly launched ROG Ally, which was equipped with even more powerful hardware.
Now though, news has surfaced that Lenovo is setting up to take a slice of the pie as well and is currently working on its own gaming handheld. Rumor has it that it’ll be named Legion Go.
Legion Go
There aren’t a lot of details available about the device, but sources say that it’ll be powered by AMD’s Phoenix processors and will run Windows 11, and that it’ll have an 8-inch screen. We can also presume that it’ll have a high refresh rate.
As for the design, chances are the Legion Go’s looks could be inspired by the previously leaked Legion Play, which never really made it to mass availability.
As of now, one of the pain points for these handhelds is battery life, so if these rumors are true, we’re also hoping for a device that can do better in this department.
