About two years ago, we were able to craft a decent ITX Gaming PC for only Php 60,000. This year, we’re doubling down the budget(120K ITX Gaming PC Build) to get a more powerful gaming PC packed with just the latest specs. Considering that the latest generation of components from Intel, AMD, and Nvidia are notoriously expensive as the brands raised their respective prices relative to the performance gains, we thought that some of the price premiums could be allocated to the small form factor department instead. That way, Php 120,000 won’t just be focused on getting the highest spec parts available, but rather will also focus on portability while being future-proof or what I would like to call “future-ready.”

Php 120k ITX Gaming PC Parts Selection Breakdown
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D made waves across the enthusiast community for both positive and negative reasons. Starting with the positive, it’s definitely one of the best, if not the best processor for gaming in the market. On the negative side, a few X3D processors were burning up regardless of motherboard brands due to the high SOC voltages which also caused us to suspend the publication of this article. So, if you’re reading this now then the issue has been fixed and there’s nothing to be worried about. Moving on, while we could’ve gone for an Intel Core i9 13900K or the Ryzen 9 X3D variants, we also considered the power draw and heat output since we’re aiming for a compact ITX gaming pc.
COOLER: DeepCool 240EX A-RGB 240MM AIO
While there are other newer options available in the market, the DeepCool Castle 240EX A-RGB 240mm AIO is still a relatively new AIO that also packs a solid feature set such as a dual-chamber pump, aRGB support, and Anti-Leak tech all for Php 5,280. The Castle 240EX A-RGB can handle the 120W TDP of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D with ease.
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B650E-I ITX Motherboard
ITX Motherboards take a big chunk of the budget so if we’re going the ITX route, we might as well get a motherboard with lots of features and connectivity, and that’s the ASUS ROG Strix B650E-I Gaming WiFi for Php 19,195. While we could’ve gone for the X670 chipset, we simply don’t need the overkill VRM configuration and additional physical slots and PCI-E lanes since we’re limited by the physical form factor itself and that we only have an easy-to-drive 7800X3D chip.
Memory: GSkill Trident Z Neo 32GB(2x16GB) 6000MHz CL
DDR5 memory has come down in price albeit still expensive for some so we choose to opt out of RGB lighting to save up a few bucks since our case of choice doesn’t have a side panel to show off the components. We opted for the AMD EXPO-certified G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB(2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 CL32 kit. The speed and CAS latency are the optimal specs for Ryzen 7000 series. You could go for a lower latency CL30 kit with the same speed but its current market price isn’t worth the premium that’s why we opted for the next best thing.
Storage: Kingston NV2 1TB SSD
We are very fond of the Kingston NV2 Gen4 SSD as its price is simply hard to ignore. Yes, it’s not the fastest available but it has the best price per GB ratio in the market. Its speed of 3,500MB/s read and 2,1000MB/s write is definitely more than enough for most users. But if you’re doing tasks that require faster speeds, then I’d recommend going for faster options.
GPU: ASUS DUAL RTX 4070
The Nvidia RTX 4070 received mixed reactions from reviewers and the main factor is its price. That said, the Philippine GPU market pricing and the price of the ASUS Dual RTX 4070 at Php 39,200 makes it a viable card for our Php 120K ITX Gaming PC build. Of course, this is based on what’s available at the time of writing so if you happen to read this a few months after, then the RTX 4070 Ti should have dropped down closer to the Php 40k mark which is a no-brainer buy for a 120K Gaming PC budget.
PSU: CoolerMaster V850 SFX GOLD PSU
Compromising on the power supply is never an option for our build guides as we usually tend to go slightly above our target to accommodate future upgrades. The Cooler Master V850 SFX 80+ Gold PSU with its 10-year warranty makes for a good bargain. Moreover, its competitive price of Php 7,425 makes it inline with other 850W PSUs meaning there’s almost no ITX tax premium.
Case: Meshisomething
PC Chassis selection in a build is almost always subjective. That said, we do still have some key factors to use as a guideline such as size, radiator support, fan support, build quality, and of course, price. Upgradability is one of the strengths in this gaming pc build and the case to house possible upgrades in cooler, GPU, and fan support in the future is the Tecware Forge S. Not only does it looks premium for its Php 3,120 price tag, but it also a bang for your back as it includes three 120mm RGB fans and comes in white too. A great alternative for the Tecware Forge S would be cases from another local brand, Rakk should you want to maximize the value of your budget.
120k ITX Gaming PC Benchmarks – 1080p & 1440p
We used CapFrameX version 1.7.2 as our benchmarking tool. Nvidia 531.68 drivers were also installed. We benchmarked the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and ASUS Dual RTX 4070 120K Gaming PC in both 1080p and 1440p resolutions to give you an idea of how a similar build would perform should you get the same core components. EXPO Profile 1 setting of the G.Skill Trident Z DDR5 was applied for optimal results.
CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2
The latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise is a sequel to the much-loved Modern Warfare game that launched in 2019. Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is one of the most demanding titles to date, pushing the latest hardware from Intel, AMD, and Nvidia. CODMW2 is one of the few games that comes with the DLSS feature without Ray Tracing.
COUNTER-STRIKE: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE
Counter-Strike Strike: Global Offensive aka CSGO is a 11-year old first-person shooter title that’s still widely popular despite its old Source Engine. CS:GO is a great game to test out CPU performance as the game is heavily CPU-dependent like any other FPS title. Our CS:GO benchmark process uses ULLETICAL’s FPS Benchmark workshop mod to measure the hardware’s performance.
DOTA 2
Most gamers play at least one of the following free-to-play titles: League of Legends, CS: GO, Dota 2, and/or Fortnite. Dota 2 is a good representation of the F2P titles as it is the most demanding game in the spectrum. The benchmark will give you an idea of the graphic card’s relative performance on other lesser demanding titles. Our benchmark sequence is based on a replay of Liquid vs Gamin Gladiators in the ESL ONE Berlin Major grand finals game 4 from the team fight that happened from 23:00 to 24:00.
Far Cry 6
FarCry 6 is an FPS game published by Ubisoft and uses the Dunia engine. It heavily relies on and takes advantage of DirectX 12 to render a realistic environment that makes it taxing to both the CPU and GPU. It’s also the first game of the franchise to support Ray Tracing.
Rainbow Six Siege
Rainbow Six Seige is one of the few popular AAA games that’s still popular in 2023 due to its competitive gameplay mechanics. R6S uses the AnvilNext game engine, which the game’s publisher, Ubisoft, developed. As of writing, Rainbow Six Siege is currently the most popular Tom Clancy title beating out Wildlands, Breakpoint, and even, Division 2.
Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably the most hyped game of 2020. Developed by CD Projekt Red, the dystopian open-world, action-adventure RPG sports is one of the most demanding titles to date. Cyberpunk 2077 also supports three Ray Tracing settings as well as DLSS which makes the game a great tool to measure Ray tracing performance for both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards.
Shadow of The Tomb Raider
Shadow of The Tomb Raider or SOTR is the latest installment of the Lara Croft Tomb Raider franchise. Developed by Square Enix, SOTR uses the Foundation engine and is further enhanced by Eidos Montreal. SOTR is also one of the first games to come out with Ray Tracing and DLSS support.
Metro Exodus
Metro Exodus is the third Metro game trilogy based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels. The game is a first-person shooter with survival horror and stealth elements. The post-apocalyptic game uses 4A Engine by 4A games. Released last 2019, Metro Exodus remains to be one of the most graphically pleasing and demanding games that’s popular to date.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the latest Assassin’s Creed game from Ubisoft Montreal making it the twelfth major installment in the franchise. It uses the AnvilNext 2.0 game engine, an updated version of Rainbow Six Siege’s game engine, and uses the DirectX 12 API.
F1 22
F1 22 is the official video game of the 2022 Formula 1 and Formula 2 championships developed by Codemasters. F1 2022 is the fifteenth installment in the franchise and uses the Ego Engine 4.0. F1 22 is a good representation of racing games thanks to its realistic graphics and fairly demanding spec requirements as well as support for Ray Tracing and DLSS 3.
HORIZON ZERO DAWN
Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most popular console-port RPG developed by Guerilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Horizon Zero Dawn is a multi-award-winning action RPG, and its popularity resulted in an exclusive Complete Edition game bundle on Steam.
