Apple has just announced that the Apple Vision Pro will officially be available for pre-order starting January 19 via the Apple Online Store.
Apple Vision Pro
The Apple Vision Pro was first announced at WWDC 2023 and dubbed a spatial computer, but it is basically a Mixed Reality (MR) headset. It seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world that runs on the company’s visionOS.
Among its features include two micro-OLED displays and advanced Spatial Audio. Meanwhile, for eye-tracking, it has high-speed cameras and a ring of LEDs.
The headset will be available with a Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band in the box. It also features a Light Seal made from soft textiles with two different-sized cushions included. Moreover, there will also be a polishing cloth, a battery, a cover, a USB-C cable for charging, and a USB-C adapter.
How much will the Apple Vision Pro cost?
The Apple Vision Pro starts at USD 3,499 (around PHP 195,100) with a lone storage option of 256GB.
Apple will also offer ZEISS Optical Inserts in either prescription or readers that can be magnetically attached to the headset. The prescription inserts will be available for USD 149 (around PHP 8,300), while the readers are priced at USD 99 (around PHP 5,500).
The headset will be available for pre-orders on January 19 and will officially ship by February 2. Meanwhile, starting February 2, the headset will be available at all US Apple Store locations. For now, it seems like the headset will only be available in the US, but it is expected to be offered in other regions later.
