ASUS BTF “Hidden Connector” Motherboards, GPUs, and Chassis Now Available in PH, Priced

Alongside the launch of ASUS ROG’s OLED Gaming Monitors, Peripherals, and Routers are new PC components featuring the brand’s very own “hidden-connector” concept for seamless and hassle-free cable management. ASUS’ Back-To-the-Future or BTF PC components target a more aesthetically pleasing PC assembly by hiding the connectors on the back side of the motherboard. ASUS’ BTF PC components ranges from motherboards, RTX 40 series graphics cards, and PC cases for a complete ecosystem.

The PSU connectors as well as some headers are positioned on the back side of the motherboard to hide as many cables as much as possible to have a cleaner looking PC build. ASUS’ BTF Series motherboards currently has three SKUs starting namely the TUF Gaming B760M-BTF WIFI motherboard, TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WIFI, and ROG Maximus Z790 HERO BTF. Unfortunately there’s no ITX BTF motherboard available.

Only two GPU models are launched under the BTF series with one TUF and ROG Strix variant – the RTX 4070 Ti OC BTF White and ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4090 OC BTF Gaming. These BTF GPUs ditches the conventional 12VHPWR connector and instead uses proprietary pins that connect to the motherboard to get power.

To support the unique layout required by the new BTF series motherboards and graphics cards, ASUS has also released BTF Series compatible cases. These cases have specific cutouts to cater the BTF connectors as well as a more spaced layout for the added cable length. ASUS made BTF variants of of the GR701 Hyperion and TUF GT502 while the A21 is a new case designed specifically for the BTF series.
