HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro Launched in China, Set for June 12 Debut in Paris

HONOR today took the wraps off its latest number series smartphones – the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro – in China. The two devices share a similar design language and key hardware specs, featuring 6.7-inch OLED displays with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP main and portrait cameras, and 5,200mAh batteries with 100W wired charging support.

While the vanilla HONOR 200 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the higher-end 200 Pro gets the more capable Snapdragon 8+ Gen 3 SoC and adds 66W wireless charging capabilities. The Pro model also packs HONOR’s C1+ chip for improved wireless and cellular connectivity.

Camera Highlights and Harcourt Partnership

HONOR 200 Pro

On the camera front, HONOR 200 Pro has a custom H9000 50MP primary sensor with OIS, the same sensor used in its flagship HONOR Magic6 Pro. The HONOR 200 opts for a 50MP IMX906 main sensor, also with OIS.

The telephoto camera on both devices has a 50MP IMX856 sensor with 2.5x optical zoom, and OIS. Notably, HONOR has partnered with Harcourt to introduce a ‘Harcourt Portrait Mode’ which uses AI technology to simulate professional studio lighting effects for high-quality portrait shots.

The camera setup is rounded off by a 12MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus and a dedicated 2.5cm macro mode. Both phones also feature 50MP front-facing cameras for selfies, while the software experience is powered by MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.
