Motorola is reintroducing refreshed versions of its Motorola Razr 2024 series of phones in poolside colors, featuring upgraded screens and IPX8 ratings, with prices remaining the same.
Motorola Razr 2024 and Razr Plus Details
First off, the Motorola Razr Plus 2024, priced at USD 999 (around PHP 59,000), features a Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset, 12GB RAM, a four-inch LTPO display, a 6.9-inch 1080p OLED inner screen, and an updated 50-megapixel rear camera.
On the other hand, the standard Motorola Razr 2024 comes with a larger 3.6-inch cover screen and a water resistance rating, compared to the previous-gen Razr Plus. The device is still priced at USD 699 (around PHP 41,000) with a 6.9-inch inner screen and a spritz orange color option, making it a good deal for those looking for a more affordable flip-style foldable device.
The Razr features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 15W wireless charging. It has a 50MP main camera but carries a 13MP ultrawide. Both models have a new hinge for better dust resistance and Motorola has tweaked cover screen software, including a widget panel and desk display mode.
Motorola has announced new AI tools for the Razr, including Google’s Gemini Assistant for wearables, and a suite of AI tools for 2024. The Razr can now be turned into a Humane-style AI wearable with hot pink and spring green color options. These tools are not yet shipping.
The company offers a “Pay attention” command for automatically recording, transcribing, and summarizing conversations, to make responses context-aware.
The Razr 2024 and Razr Plus will be available for preorder on July 10th and will go on sale on July 24, 2024.
