Samsung Electronics has released the Samsung One UI 7 beta program, featuring advanced AI features, simplified controls, and previews of future scalable AI ecosystems.
The platform integrates AI agents and multimodal capabilities into every touchpoint, creating a natural and intuitive interface. The beta program offers a first glimpse at an enhanced mobile user experience.
Samsung One UI 7 Rolls Out
Enhanced AI Enables More Intuitive User Experiences
Samsung One UI 7 introduces advanced writing assist tools, enhancing productivity by allowing users to select texts without switching between applications. These tools, already available, offer AI-powered options for content summarization, spelling and grammar checks, and note formatting.
Bold New Design for Greater Personalization and Control
One UI 7 features a new notification system called Now Bar, which simplifies communication and provides easy access to important notifications from the lock screen. This feature, set to be supported on upcoming Galaxy S series devices, reduces the need for constant device unlocking and allows users to engage with key information effortlessly.
In addition, Galaxy users can now enjoy streamlined and cohesive experiences with One UI 7, a simple, emotive design that reduces visual clutter and encourages personal engagement. The simplified home screen, One UI widgets, and lock screen provide users with granular control over every detail, making customization intuitive and seamless.
A redesigned camera UX allows more intuitive control over advanced settings. Camera buttons, controls, and modes have been reorganized to make it easier to find the features you need and to give you a clearer preview of the picture you’re taking or the video you’re recording.
Moreover, Samsung has simplified the manual settings layout for Pro and Pro video modes, enhancing focus and introducing a new zoom control for smooth transitions.
The official One UI 7 release will be available with upcoming Galaxy S series devices starting in Q1 2025, with the beta program initially available for Galaxy S24 series devices in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the U.S., and early 2025 for the Philippines.
