The device is built around a 6.73-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with a 3200×1440 resolution and 3200 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Moreover, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a silicon carbide battery that delivers a 6000mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.
Now for the main focus of Ultra devices, cameras. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a Leica-tuned quad-camera system that’s pretty similar to its predecessor.
The main snapper is a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 50MP sensor with a fixed f/1.63 aperture. This is joined by a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens (70mm focal length and f/1.8 aperture) and a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide lens with a f/2.2 aperture.
The biggest upgrade is the periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.4-inch 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor. It is said to capture up to 136% more light than its predecessor. This sensor is the same as the one used in the vivo X100 Ultra and X200 Pro.
Rounding out the optics is a 32MP front camera with 21mm focal length and f/2.0 aperture.
All four lenses in the rear capture up to 8K video at 30fps while all cameras are capable of capturing 4K@60fps video.
