HONOR 500 Series Official Images Confirm Horizontal Camera Alignment

HONOR has just shared the first official images of the HONOR 500 series, revealing its camera module design. The series is coming in two versions – HONOR 500 and HONOR 500 Pro.

The images were shared as the company opened reservations for the HONOR 500 series in China. It reveals a horizontally aligned camera housed in an elongated oval that runs along the top of the device.

It has a unibody with a cold-carved back panel. The Pro device also seems to have a dedicated photo button, which is speculated to be used to take quick photos and unlock AI-powered features.

The reservation website confirms that the devices will come with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. However, the rest of its specs are yet to be revealed by the company.

Rumored Specs

The HONOR 500 series is expected to be built around a 6.55-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED panel. It is also speculated to have a 200MP main snapper with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP front camera. Meanwhile, the Pro variant is believed to include a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor.

The duo is reported to be equipped with an 8000mAh battery, but the Pro variant is said to support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

HONOR has yet to announce the official date of the launch of the HONOR 500 series, but reports claim it will debut on November 24.
