The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is built around a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

This year’s Ultra device also debuts with a Privacy Display that blocks visibility from those around you with its limited side-angle visibility. This feature can be toggled on or off, as well as set to only specific apps like social media or banking apps.

The company has also improved Nightography to deliver better photos in low-light conditions thanks to its larger sensor size.

Samsung has also upgraded the Photo Assist suite with features that allow you to switch the scene from day to night or tidy up a spill on your clothing. Edits can now be made continuously, reviewed step by step, and adjusted or undone along the way.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is also the only device in the series to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset with higher clock speeds for its cores. The new chipset is reported to offer up to 19% better CPU performance, up to 24% improved GPU performance, and up to 39% boost in AI experience than its predecessor.
