POCO M2 with Helio G80 and 5,000mAh Battery Goes Official
POCO has just introduced the Poco M2, the vanilla sibling of the POCO M2 Pro released in July.
The POCO M2 is built around a 6.53-inch FullHD+ display with a waterdrop notch for its 8MP front camera. The panel is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
At the back is a two-tone pattern which is said to be anti-fingerprint. It has four cameras at the back along with the fingerprint scanner and the LED flash. A 13MP camera sits at the helm of the quad-camera setup and is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The vanilla M2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC along with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB expandable storage. It packs a 5000mAh battery with up to 18W fast charging support via USB-C. However, the M2 only comes with a 10W charger.
Out of the box, it runs on MIUI 11 on top of Android 10. Other features include P2i water-repelling nano-coating, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The POCO M2 has three colors available – Pitch Black, Slate Blue, and Brick Red. The base 6GB/64GB variant is available for INR 10,999 and INR 12,499 for the 6GB/128GB option. The new POCO device will be available starting September 15 through Flipkart in India.
