Nothing Partners with Teenage Engineering for Its Design
Nothing has announced that it has partnered with Teenage Engineering. The co-founder and CEO of Teenage Engineering Jesper Kouthoofd will be Creating Lead for the Designs of Nothing, while the Vice Head of Design Tom Howard has been appointed Head of Design of Nothing.
“When Carl first told me about Nothing’s vision I remember being super excited thinking about how this would be translated into the design identity of the products. After months of research and development, we are now in a place where I believe we will have something exciting to show to the world,” said Jesper Kouthoofd.
Teenage Engineering is a Swedish company known primarily for the OP-1 synthesizer. The company also makes other audio products though with an emphasis on design. It collaborates with other brands for designing their products some of which include IKEA for the FREKVENS and Panic for the upcoming Playdate portable console.
Nothing, since launching in late January, has been pretty active. It is set to launch its first TWS earbuds in the summer and acquired the Essential brand in addition to announcing investments from GV and other big names in the tech industry.
