The realme GT 8 still carries over the 50MP main camera with the Ricoh GR anti-glare, 7p lens, and two-axis OIS image stabilization. However, the base variant tones down the 50MP telephoto lens to a 50MP sensor and the ultrawide camera to an 8MP lens.

The trio, this time around, is housed in a more traditional circular camera module with the main and ultrawide set next to each other on top and the telephoto snapper underneath.
On the front, the selfie lens has also been tuned down to a 16MP snapper. However, it does retain being built around a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Despite the toned-down cameras, the realme GT 8 still features the Ricoh GR film tones, Quick Focus Mode, and the algorithm engine co-developed with Ricoh.
Underneath, the device is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the custom R1 graphics chip, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 7000mAh battery. Its fast charging support, though, is only up to 100W Super Flash Charge, from the 120W of its Pro sibling.
It also runs on realme UI 7.0 on top of Android 16 and has an IP69, IP68, and IP66 rating.
