Creative Launches Sound Blaster GC7: A DAC for Gamers and Streamers
Creative Technology has just unveiled the Sound Blaster GC7 – its latest DAC built with gamers, streamers, and content creators in mind.
The Sound Blaster GC7 features the company’s Sound Blaster audio processing and its Super X-Fi headphone holography. The DAC supports up to 24-bit and 192 kHz PCM and is capable of powering 32-300 Ohm headphones. According to the company, the DAC has a sub-2 Ohm headphone output impedance and has a -120dB low noise floor.
As far as ports go, it has a USB-C connector, a 3.5mm 3-pole mic-in, a 3.5mm 4-pole headset-in, and 3.5mm line-in/line-out connections as well as optical input and output connections.
It features two large dials for altering in-game and microphone volumes in addition to four programmable buttons for a wide variety of customization options. The new DAC is compatible with PC, Mac, Nintendo Swtich, PS4, and PS5.
