Huawei has just launched the new MateView and MateView GT monitors in China for professionals and gamers, respectively.
Huawei MateView
The Huawei MateView features a 28.2-inch IPS display with a 3840×2560 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Its design is pretty minimalistic with ultra-thin bezels.
The new monitor has a maximum brightness of 500nits with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and HDR400 support. It also has 98% DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% sRGB which should help professionals.
As far as ports go, it has one USB-C port for power supply, display, and external charging up to 65W, two USB-A 3.0 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a MiniDP port, and a 3.5mm headphone + microphone jack.
Huawei MateView GT
The Huawei MateView GT, on the other hand, has a 34-inch curved display with a 1500R curvature. It has a 3440×1440 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.
The gaming monitor is also TÜV Rheinland Eye Care certified which should come in handy for long gaming sessions. It has 90% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamut and 350nits of brightness.
It features a USB-C port for power, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, one USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio port.
Unique to the MateView GT is a dual 5W speaker that is fixed on the base of the monitor.
Huawei MateView and MateView GT price and availability
The Huawei MateView comes in a single white color option and is available for CNY 4,699. The Huawei MateView GT is available in a single black color variant and is priced at CNY 3,599.
Both monitors will be available starting June 1 in China.
