Qualcomm has just announced the Snapdragon 778G chipset built upon TSMC’s 6nm process, compared to Samsung’s 5nm node which the Snapdragon 780G is built on.
The Snapdragon 778G has a Kryo 670 CPU coupled with an Adreno 642L GPU and a Spectra 570L ISP. It has an integrated Snapdragon X53 5G Modem-RF that delivers mmWave and sub-6 5G support.
The triple ISP on the 778G allows you to simultaneously shoot photos and videos using a wide, ultrawide, and telephoto lens.
The new chipset slots in between the Snapdragon 768G and 780G and shares much of the hardware of the 780G but is built on a larger node and slightly lower GPU.
