Samsung recently announced an upgraded version of its Odyssey G9 ultra wide gaming monitor. The 49-inch Odyssey G9 Neo is the world’s first mini-LED curved gaming monitor that utilizes Quantum Matrix technology.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 boasts a 32:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of 5120 x 1440, and a 1000R curvature. It uses mini-LEDs that are just 1/40th the size of those in a regular LED screen, allowing it to have 2,048 dimming zones. It’s also twice as bright, and has significantly improved contrast ratio.

You get a 240Hz refresh rate with a 1ms response time (GtG), as well as support for DisplayPort 1.4 input with Adaptive Sync and HDMI 2.1 VRR with both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. It also has two USB ports and a headphone jack.
