After briefly mentioning the arrival of the Huawei nova 9 in the Philippines during the local launch of the MateBook 14s, Huawei has revealed more details on the new nova device and its launch in the country. It comes with a 50MP RYYB ultra vision camera with an XD Fusion Engine.
The nova 9 has up to a 120Hz refresh rate depending on what you’re doing. It boasts the 66W Huawei SuperCharge technology which is said to top up the 4300mAh battery in just 38 minutes. As far as color options are concerned, the device is available in Black and Starry Blue.
Meanwhile, on the software front, it runs on EMUI 11 out of the box. But if you want to try out HarmonyOS 2 Beta version, you can upgrade the Harmony Beta version by switching the region to Hong Kong. HarmonyOS 2 Beta is available starting November 15, 2021.
The company will be unveiling the Huawei nova 9 at an online launch event on the official Huawei Facebook page or YouTube on November 19. Meanwhile, you can watch your favorite nova stars share tips and experiences with the nova 9 from November 20 – 23, 2021.
Additionally, you can get first dibs via the online Huawei Store and official Huawei stores on Lazada and Shopee.
