realme Executive Xu Qi Chase mentioned at the China Mobile Global Partners Conference that a number of new high-end products will be launched early next year including a device with a flagship phone of around CNY 5,000.
While you might think that the company already offers flagship devices, even the realme GT with a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 lacks a flagship camera system.
If you recall, the company announced its dual-flagship strategy wherein it will release a flagship focused on performance and another focused more on camera performance. Because of this, there really isn’t a single do-it-all flagship at a premium price.
The high-end flagship device is expected to feature the company’s 125W UltraDart fast charging technology which is expected to debut next year.
The move to enter the high-end flagship market, as speculated by IT News, is believed to be an attempt to gain some of the high-end market share that Huawei lost. This will put realme against other brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo.
