vivo X Flip Hi-res Hands-on Image Surfaces

Leakster Digital Chat Station has just shared a high-resolution hands-on photo of the vivo X Flip on Weibo. The photo appears to be from a promo video shoot for the device and with actress Wang Ziwen holding the folded device.

vivo X Flip Leaks So Far

The photo reveals the outer panel when folded and it looks pretty much exactly like the mockup images that were previously leaked.

It features a massive secondary panel in landscape that sits near the hinge and above the camera module. The photo reveals a camera icon on the lower left of the panel which may hint that you can use this to open the camera app for a more convenient way to take photos on the go.

Additionally, we can spot two lenses in the round camera module and a ZEISS logo. Reports have mentioned that the rear camera module will have a 50MP Sony IMX866 lens and a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultrawide lens. The cameras are seemingly accompanied by three LED lights with different color temperatures to allow users to adjust the color of the flash with the ambient light.

The vivo X Flip was previously spotted on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 at the helm and at least 12GB RAM.

It is also expected to have a 6.8-inch 120Hz main panel and a 4400mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.

vivo has yet to announce a launch date for its latest foldable as of writing this though. So we’ll still have to wait for anything official.
