Smart Unveils Exclusive NFTs, Gives Subscribers a Chance to Win FIBA Finals Pass, Gilas Art Prints

Smart is giving folks more chances to grab a piece of sports history. They’re rolling out something special called Shinys, which are like unique digital items you can own. Think of them as special tokens for sports fans, and they’re up for grabs at big sports events.

This is a first-of-its-kind thing in the Philippines. These Shinys are cool because they feature the mascot of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, a friendly character named JIP.

And guess what? Every time you get a Shiny, you’re automatically entered into a lucky draw. The big prize? A pass to the final match of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023! Plus, there’s more art to win. A famous artist who really loves basketball, Mike Swift (he’s also known as Mr. Pinoy Hoops), is sharing some of his special Gilas Art Prints. Back in 2020, he made some incredible art to remember Kobe and Gianna Bryant. You might have seen it at the Tenement Court in Taguig City.

You can also get your hands on shirts from Smart and Gilas, and they’re throwing in some limited-edition Gilas-themed Smart Prepaid load cards.

How to Collect Smart Shinys

So, if you’re a Smart subscriber, you can collect up to 8 Shinys for free. Just head to the Smart Booths at different places like the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, and the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. You can do this from August 25 to September 1.

Here’s how it works: Go to the Smart Booth, make sure you’re connected to Smart’s mobile internet, scan a QR code, and fill out a form on the YEY Platform. Once registered, you’ll get your unique Shiny for the day.

Keep in mind, each QR code only works for one day. So, there are 8 different Shinys you can collect, and you just need to visit the places during the promotion.

Smart Partners with BlockchainSpace Asia

Smart’s NFT raffle and FREE Shinys for subscribers is made possible thanks to its partnership with a leading Web3 community enabler, BlockchainSpace Asia.
