Google has uploaded the Android 15 source code to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), but updates are not yet ready for users, including Pixels. The September update for Google’s smartphones is still Android 14, despite the stable release of Android’s latest version.
Android 15 is Out…for Devs
According to Google, the latest Android version will be available for the Google Pixel series in the weeks to come while the following brands will get it in the coming months –
- iQOO
- Lenovo
- Motorola
- OnePlus
- Oppo
- Sharp
- Sony
- Tecno
- vivo
- Xiaomi
Google confirms the latest version of Android will hit Pixels in October, allowing developers to review the AOSP code and make their own decisions.
