According to leaks, the POCO F7 is set to be introduced globally with an event in Indonesia. Previous reports have also shared the believed specs of the upcoming device.
Its siblings, the POCO F7 Ultra and F7 Pro were introduced in late March at an event in Singapore.
POCO F7 Tipped Launch
Leakster Ahishek Yadav or @yabhushekhd on X/Twitter shared that the POCO F7 will debut on June 25, starting in Indonesia. The leakster backed this up with a screenshot of Shopee with the launch date. Moreover, it is believed that the device could debut in India on the same date.
The vanilla variant of the F7 series is said to be built around a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED panel and 3200 nits of peak brightness. Moreover, it is said to have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide lens around the back. Reports claim that a 20MP lens on the front completes the camera department.
The upcoming POCO device is also reported to have a 6500mAh battery for the Indonesian model and a larger 7550mAh cell in India. These top up with support for 90W wired fast charging.
As of writing this, POCO has yet to mention the POCO F7 officially. Yes, this includes the official POCO Indonesia social media pages and POCO Global. However, POCO India has started teasing a device with a 7550mAh battery, which is highly likely the F7.
