Nothing has officially launched its second fan-collaborated device, the Phone (3a) Community Edition (CE), blending community input with a nostalgic “retro futuristic” aesthetic. While the handset features no internal hardware upgrades over the standard Phone (3a), its unique design and extreme exclusivity are expected to drive high demand.

The CE model’s most striking feature is its transparent back panel, rendered in a distinctive teal color with vibrant pink and yellow accents, drawing inspiration from ’90s and early 2000s technology. This visual language extends to the software, which includes a community-designed transforming lockscreen clock and new wallpapers.

Moreover, the Phone (3a) CE comes with a special accessory: six dice featuring the company’s Ndot 55 font, housed in a matching yellow and teal case.

Nothing confirmed it will produce only 1,000 units worldwide. Enthusiasts hoping to secure one of the limited-edition phones must register for a purchase invitation by December 11. The Phone (3a) Community Edition will officially go on sale on December 12 in select markets via the company’s website and its physical London store.
