Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha Launched with Latest Intel Core Processors

Samsung has bolstered its laptop offerings with the recent release of the Galaxy Book Pro, Galaxy Book Pro 360, Galaxy Book, and Galaxy Book Odyssey. Alongside them, the company also quietly made the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha available for pre-order on its US website.

The Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is a successor to the Galaxy Book Flex with the same 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch sizes as its predecessor.

It has a 1080p QLED panel with 400 nits of regular brightness and S Pen support. As the name suggests, it can flex up to 360 degrees as well.

Under the hood, it comes with either an Intel Core i5-1135G7 or an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor these come with Iris Xe graphics. It partners this with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x 4267MHz of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage.

The Book Flex2 Alpha has a 1 full-sized HDMI, 1 USB-C, two USB-A 3.2, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as far as ports go.

The new laptop features a 54Wh battery with 40W charging, which is said to offer up to 18.5 hours of battery life. In addition, it is loaded with Samsung Gallery, Dex, Flow, Notes, Recovery, and Update.

Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is currently available for pre-order and will hit the shelves officially on May 17. The 13.3-inch model starts at USD 849 for the model with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of storage. It also comes with an Intel Core i7-1165G7 variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage for USD 1,049.

The company has yet to reveal the price for the 15.6-inch model though.
