Redmi has just unveiled the RedmiBook Pro 15 and RedmiBook Pro 14 laptops, two Ryzen-based laptops at 15.6-inches and 14-inches, respectively.
RedmiBook Pro 15
The RedmiBook Pro 15 has a 3200×2000 resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate on its 15.6-inch panel. In addition, it has 100% sRGB coverage, 300 nits of brightness, DC dimming, and a 1,500:1 contrast ratio.
It packs either a Ryzen 5 5600H or a Ryzen 7 5800H processor. They come integrated with Radeon graphics with 7 and 8 CU, respectively. The H-series processors feature dual fan cooling and are built on the latest Zen 3 core.
The 15-inch laptop weighs in at 1.8kg and packs a 70WHr battery with support for 100W fast charging.
Its chassis is CNC-machined aluminum and offers two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. The laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and has a fingerprint scanner in its power button as well.
RedmiBook Pro 14
The smaller 14-inch version, on the other hand, has a 2560x 1600 resolution panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It does however, retain the 100% sRGB coverage, 300 nits of brightness, and DC dimming.
Under the hood, it has either a Ryzen 5 5500U or a Ryzen 5700U powering it. The U-series are based on the older Zen 2 core and cooled by a single fan.
It is lighter at 1.42kg, compared to its larger sibling, and has a smaller battery at 56WHr with 65W fast charging support.
The RedmiBook Pro 14 shares the same chassis and ports as the larger laptop.

Regardless of which size and processor you opt for, they will come with 16GB of dual channel DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD. The price for the respective processor is as follows:
- RedmiBook Pro 14 (5500U) – CNY 4,300
- RedmiBook Pro 14 (5700U) – CNY 4,700
- RedmiBook Pro 15 (5600U) – CNY 4,800
- RedmiBook Pro 15 (5800U) – CNY 5,300
The RedmiBook Pro 15 and Pro 14 will be available in China starting June 1. Whether it will be released into the international market, though, it is uncertain.
