(CES 2025) ASUS has unveiled the Zenbook A14 (UX3407) at CES 2025, the lightest 14-inch Copilot+ PC in the market. It showcases ASUS’s first-ever all-Ceraluminum chassis and packs the Snapdragon X Series AI-enabled processors.
Design Innovation
The Zenbook A14 sets a new standard in ultraportable computing with a sub-1kg weight. To be specific, it’s under 980g. The revolutionary Ceraluminum chassis material is 30% lighter and three times stronger versus traditional anodized aluminum. This material undergoes rigorous testing, which includes scratch resistance evaluations with keys and coins in a rotating drum, and shock resistance testing with 50cm drops.
Performance and Battery Life
The Snapdragon X Series processor delivers exceptional power efficiency, enabling more than 32 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge. A sophisticated dual-fan thermal system maintains optimal performance, allowing the CPU to reach up to 45W TDP while operating quietly. The device includes a high-capacity 70Wh battery, ensuring multi-working-day operation without compromising performance.
AI Integration and Connectivity
As a Copilot+ PC, the Zenbook A14 features a 45 TOPS Qualcomm Hexagon NPU dedicated to AI tasks. The device seamlessly integrates with Windows Phone Link and Snapdragon Seamless technology, so users can manage calls, notifications, and file transfers directly from the laptop.
Security features include the Microsoft Pluton processor, Windows passkeys, and AI-driven capabilities such as Adaptive Lock and Adaptive Dimming.
Display and Audio
The laptop has a 14-inch FHD ASUS Lumina OLED display, complemented by a super-linear speaker system. The audio experience is enhanced with Snapdragon Sound technology, offering High-Resolution Audio at 24-bit/192kHz and advanced noise cancellation features.
