HONOR Pad GT2 Pro with 165Hz Display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Now Official

HONOR has unveiled its latest performance-focused tablet in China, the HONOR Pad GT2 Pro, and while its complete specs have not all been revealed, it’s got some notable upgrades from its predecessor.

HONOR Pad GT2 Pro

The HONOR Pad GT2 Pro comes in two colors – Ice Crystal White and Phantom Gray, and is slightly heavier than the first iteration, measuring 5.8mm thick and weighing 580g.

It boasts a 3K OLED display, now with a 165Hz refresh rate (from 144Hz on the first version), and packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also uses what HONOR calls “Phantom Engine” to deliver native 165 fps in supported titles.

You get 8 IMAX Enhanced speakers for that immersive audio experience, a 10,100mAh battery, and it also uses Graphene for improved thermals.

Pricing

The HONOR Pad GT2 Pro is priced starting at CNY 2,500 for the base 8GB+128GB variant, all the way up to CNY 3,400 for the 16GB+512GB model.

Should HONOR bring this tablet globally, or better yet, to the Philippines? Let us know!
