The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series just made its debut, consisting of two new flagship smartwatches designed for extended battery life, robust health features, and advanced durability. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 and GT 6 Pro bring refined designs, AMOLED displays, and comprehensive fitness tracking for active users.
What are the design differences between the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 and GT 6 Pro?
The WATCH GT 6 Pro uses a titanium alloy case, giving it a premium and durable build, while the standard WATCH GT 6 is built using stainless steel. Both models feature interchangeable straps, but the Pro edition offers more premium strap options including titanium and composite woven styles. The GT 6 maintains a sportier profile with comfort-focused materials.
How do the displays compare?
Both watches are equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels at 317 ppi. This ensures sharp visuals and vibrant colors suitable for outdoor readability. The Pro model also incorporates a rotating crown alongside its main button.
What sensors and health features are included?
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series boasts a full suite of health and fitness sensors, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, barometer, magnetometer, temperature sensor, ambient light sensor, and ECG monitoring (Pro).
The Pro version has a depth sensor for diving support up to 40 meters in accordance with EN13319 standards. Both models provide sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and continuous heart rate measurement.
How durable are the smartwatches?
Both models are 5 ATM water-resistant and are IP69 rated for protection against high-pressure water jets. The WATCH GT 6 Pro advances durability further with its dive mode, supporting depths of up to 40 meters, while the standard GT 6 is more suited for swimming and everyday water exposure. Users are advised to avoid hot water environments like saunas or hot showers, as these may affect water resistance performance.
What connectivity and compatibility options are available?
The devices support Bluetooth 6.0 with dual BR+BLE connectivity and NFC for contactless communication. The GNSS system covers GPS dual-band (L1 + L5), GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC for precise outdoor navigation. Both models are compatible with Android 9.0 and iOS 13.0 or later.
How long does the battery last?
Battery endurance remains a standout feature of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series. The Pro model can last up to 21 days on light usage, about 12 days on typical use, 7 days with Always-On Display enabled, and up to 40 hours in outdoor sport mode.
The standard GT 6 also offers up to 21 days of uptime for the 46mm model and up to 14 days for the 41mm model, designed to minimize the need for frequent charging even under intensive tracking modes. Wireless charging is supported for both models.
What color options are available?
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 comes in Green, Black, and Grey colors for the 46mm version and Purple, White, and Gold for the 41mm version. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Pro comes in Black, Brown, and Titanium for its sole 46mm variant.
Is the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series Available for Pre-Order in the Philippines?
Both the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 (46mm, 41mm) and GT 6 Pro (46mm) are available for pre-order from September 20 to October 2, 2025 via the Huawei Online Store. Users will be asked to secure a PHP 500 deposit and pay the remainder upon claiming the device.
As for pre-order perks, those who pre-order by paying the PHP 500 deposit will get additional up to PHP 4,000 off the SRP, along with a free HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 2 and a Stainless-Steel Thermos as freebies. Both also come with a 3-month membership to HUAWEI Health+.
HUAWEI is yet to reveal the SRP for both devices.
